I am an educator/administrator/supervisor in the New York City Department of Education. My socio-political and spiritual interests include facilitating the process of, and collaborating with others to institute real and dynamic remedies to some of the social, political, spiritual, and educational dilemmas our youth encounter and face today. Several years ago I convened parents of a spiritual organization to initiate a male develolp program that served a consistent group of young men for three years. Those young men agreed to be the focus of my dissertation study: Self-Concept, Ethnic Identity, and World View of African American Males from Urban USA. I plan to engage and implement new writing, research and facilitation projects in the near future, and look forward to meeting other members of this organization.
