Glad to hear from you. Rocky Mount is experiencing some growth in terms of self employment, however, we are not seeing much of an increase in small business ownership. In the Rocky Mount area, (Edgecombe county) there are some grants which are being made available for small business ventures. However, the problem is that much of what we are seeing is duplication of services, mainly restaurants. Book stores dont do well here, we've had a few of those that didn't make it. Where are you in the Piedmont area?
